Play Drumkit Timpani And Percussion Book 2 by Garraway/Stanley is designed to further develop the skills learnt in book one and challenge your musicality, technique and intellect. There are more detailed explanations of styles and genres and a greater expectation to self analyse and critic your own playing.
Again we would encourage you to learn the rhythms in the snare drum section first before embarking on the drum kit, timpani or tuned section of the book. The rhythms and techniques in book two are aimed at the intermediate musician and finishing book two should leave you ready to attempt grade 3 or 4.
